We have now been in Boquete Panama for 5 days now. The bus ride was great! but LONG!
We had our driver pick us up at 6 am, so we could beat rush hour traffic, and made it to Albrook Transportation Center just in time to get the 7.15 double decker bus to David! And since we were the first people to purchase tickets we were right up front. So the 6 of us took turns so that all could experience the front seat view! We had great seatmates and Ahna made her first friend with a 16 month old named Alexandria. One downfall of sitting up front is you feel all the bumps in the road. after 6 hours I was more than ready to get off the bus!
We took a few days to get back our energy and beat the jet lag.
Sunday took us to church. I can tell how spoiled we are in our worship with instruments and amazing talented vocalists. The worship was led by a gentlemen who was passionate about Jesus which was so good to see. We sang along with tracts. And The pastor spoke on Matthew chapter 16. Good to be in company of other believers.
Then we took my folks out to Chinese food. It was super yummy! Then my dad ordered what he thought was 2 more spring rolls for his daughter and we ended up with 2 orders, 8 spring rolls! Good thing everyone had room for one more!
We then went to the visitors center to view creek that runs below! such lush beauty!
It is the rainy season, here is the fog rolling in.... |
